Chha Maana Atha Guntha, written by Fakir Mohan Senapati, Father of Modern Oriya Literature is a 19th Century’s Oriya novel. It is the first Indian novel to deal with the exploitations of landless peasants by the feudal Lord during British Rule. It was written much before the October Revolution of Russia. (14 January 1843 – 14 June 1918)
